Josh Davis joined the Retreat's Board of Trustees in 2019. He currently serves as executive director of Groundworks Collaborative, a Brattleboro-based not-for-profit agency that provides a continuum of services for those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.
Davis holds a master's degree in Sustainable Development from the School for International Training. After graduating from SIT in 2010 he worked as an AmeriCorps member with Post Oil Solutions, focusing on the group's food security issues.
He went on to work as a staff member at Meeting Waters YMCA based in Bellows Falls before becoming Director of Morningside Shelter (a precursor of Groundworks Collaborative) in 2012.
