Meghan Baston joined the Brattleboro Retreat as Chief Nursing Officer in September, 2017. She came to the Retreat from Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH, where she served as the Director of Behavioral Health Services and earlier as a clinical nurse manager.

Meghan Baston joined the Brattleboro Retreat as Chief Nursing Officer in September, 2017. She came to the Retreat from Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH, where she served as the Director of Behavioral Health Services and earlier as a clinical nurse manager.

From 2012 to 2013 Baston worked for Crotched Mountain Rehab Hospital in Greenfield, NH, as a nurse manager. From 2007 to 2012 she worked at the New Hampshire State Hospital in Concord, NH, as a radiologic technologist/nurse where she oversaw budgeting and daily operations of the radiology department.

In addition to providing direct care, Baston's nursing background includes experience with program/staff management, strategic planning, the development and implementation of clinical processes, staff education, regulatory oversight, workforce retention, and cultural transformation within the workplace.

Baston holds two degrees from the University of Phoenix: a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Leadership and Management.  She also holds an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Manchester College, and an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology from New Hampshire Technical Institute.
