Kayla joined the Retreat in 2011 as a nurse resident after working in long-term care and obstetrics. She began her healthcare career in 1994 in Activities at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home. She became an LNA in 2003 and later attended New Hampshire Community Technical College for her LPN (2006) and RN (2007).
In 2011 Kayla received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Franklin Pierce University. She is also certified in addictions (CARN) and board-certified in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
Kayla holds masters degrees in Health Administration and in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. In January 2019 she plans to return to school to pursue her Doctor of Nursing Practice.
