Dr. John M. Halloran is a licensed clinical psychologist and licensed alcohol and drug counselor in Vermont. He earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2017 and completed both his internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Brattleboro Retreat, where he has been a valued team member since 2016.

Dr. Halloran specializes in treating substance dependence and trauma, utilizing an integrative therapeutic approach tailored to the unique needs of each individual. His clinical work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Humanistic and Pastoral approaches, and trauma-informed care.

With a deep commitment to evidence-based practices and holistic care, Dr. Halloran helps patients navigate their path toward healing and personal growth. He strives to create a safe and compassionate environment where individuals can explore their challenges and build the skills needed for long-term well-being.
