Beth Rachlin, M.S., is a doctoral psychology intern at the Brattleboro Retreat and a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Central Arkansas. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas.
Beth has significant experience working with adults in various settings, including inpatient units, criminal forensic settings, university counseling centers, and community mental health centers. She has provided individual and group therapy to clients dealing with PTSD, suicidality, anxiety, depression, grief, and acculturative stress. She has also facilitated Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) groups. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and integrative, with elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.
