Gina is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state Vermont. She is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York. Gina received a Master of Arts Training at Antioch University New England in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program through the School of Applied Psychology. Gina has been working with women and men in both individual and group therapy for the past 14 years. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, family dynamics and relational problems.
How the interpersonal process works is central in Gina’s approach to therapy. Her therapeutic style is person centered, focusing on emotions and experiences in life both past and present. She believes sense of self, relationships to others, interpersonal boundaries and values are important elements of a healthy life. Gina sees therapy as an opportunity to reflect on our lives and to identify patterns that may have developed personally or interpersonally and may no longer be useful in the present moment.
