Kurt L. White, LADC, LICSW, CGP, MAC is the Vice President of Community Partnerships and Communications and is the Brattleboro Retreat DEI Officer. He is a clinical social worker by training and has been at the Retreat in a variety of roles since 2005.
Mr. White is an adjunct professor at Smith College School for Social Work, where he teaches a variety of topics including group psychotherapy. He is a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association and is recognized as a Master Addiction Counselor by NAADAC - the organization for addiction professionals.
His interests include group psychotherapy, psychodynamic theory and practice, social justice practice in clinical and agency settings, co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions, and the emerging field of psychedelic psychotherapy.
